Aurora
Aurora Aksnes, born June 15, 1996, in Stavanger and is known professionally as Aurora or, sometimes, stylized as AURORA is a Norwegian music producer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th, 2015 and received great reviews from musicians and music blogs as well as press. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy, by Nat King Cole are two of the best covers of the artist. Katy Perry, who endorsed the song Runaway from her side, gave her the track a little more attention. Celebrate her special birthday. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was locating a keyboard in her loft, and becoming amazed by its sound. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents May Britt Aksnes and Jan Oystein Aksnes urged Aurora Aksnes to pursue music as an interest or career. Her first step was to compose her own songs. She has cited renowned songwriters Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan as inspirations, and also an appreciation for the style of Bjork. When her mother told her that her songs would not only help her gain popularity, but also help other people realize their significance in the world and realize the possibilities for the songs, she decided to start performing in public. As a young girl she began to learn the piano. At age nine, she, started writing songs. Her family didn't know that she had begun until fourteen. Aurora wasn't a childhood dream. The singer claims that she is a fan of making music. She says that music is her preferred method to express her feelings about anything.
