Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is Belarusian born in Minsk. Their father Sergey (d. 2019) was an Ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born in Minsk, Belarus on May 5th of 1998. In her career she has been awarded 12 WTA singles titles, including one Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. Doubles is another sport where she shines. It was the US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021 were both taken by Elise Mertens. The year she was born, she won her both in the WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian Partner, who completed what is known as the Sunshine Double. Only four women's pairs were able to achieve this achievement. Then, in January 2023 attained her highest rating in singles. In the 23rd of August in 2021, she shot up to number two in the rankings. Her climb up to the top of the doubles rankings in the next year after triumphing at Melbourne. That made her the only Belarusian tennis player to succeed in her field. The coach she was working with was an ex- Russian tennis star Dmitry Tursunov from 2018 until at the end of season of 2019 and also at the beginning of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann was the coach she worked with from August till September 2020. She is being trained by her countryman Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020. Serena Williams, and Maria Sharapova are her idols.
